3 Years in Denver

We have officially been in Denver for 3 years! A lot has changed during that time...I feel more so than any other time in my life. And YOU have not come and visited me once since I've been HERE! (except if your name is: Carmen, Kelly, Lauren, Gaza band, Thayne, Brain, Mike, Ian, Mom, Curtis, Sophia, Shauna and Mark Williams.) So now that my life is not sooo crazy I'm extending an invite to visit, I recommend Summer or Fall... because winter sucks.

Anyway here is a little ode to our last 3 years:

1 Year in Denver

Today marks the 1 year of living in Denver. We have had so many new experiences and challenges since moving here. Although we miss our friends and family we know we were met to be here and I'm happy we decided to go outside our comfort zone and move.
I have learned more about other cultures and have been exposed to more ideas and people.
Taylor and I are finally forming our group of friends, which always makes living easier. We have also had plenty of great friends and Taylors family that have visited us this past year. This year We bought a house and I got accepted to grad school.
I started school this week and I must say I am glad we didn't wait till this year to move. There are many people in my classes that just moved to Colorado and they seem extra stressed out!
School is going to be challenging and fun. I will be in it for the next 3 years so we won't be moving anywhere for awhile. So it is official for now.....Taylor and I call Denver home.

Great Weekend

This weekend was great, just what Tay and I needed. Friday we went out with John (white Tiger) and Amanda. We had some desert at Watercourse. Saturday we hung out at the pool with Randy and Sarah. We ate watermelon and jumped in the pool when we were too hot. If you are wondering did I get burt.. of course! But not really bad, just missed some spots with the sunscreen. Who knew relaxing in the sun would take so much out of you! Tay and I were beat for the rest of the night but not enough to not go get icecream with Morgan and Crysta! HA! Sunday we went with Morgan and Crysta to the Denver Swap Meet! WOW.. now that some good people watching! It reminded me of the ourdoor market in Thialand and the weather was about the same too! SOOO HOT!
Just a good weekend fun in the sun and good company to match!
