Longing

Why do I torture myself by looking at dresses that I can neither fit nor afford?
I long to fit into cute dresses again.... here are a few I wish I could fit into for summer time. Of course they are from Anthropologie!

I like the haltered neckline.. gives it such a vintage feel.
I love the striped dress with the classic cut. I don't think anyone could look bad in this number.
Yellow is my favorite color right now.

I guess a girl can dream......

Sustainable Living

Check out this family and their urban sustainable living. Exactly what I hope for my family.

This year in addition to our garden I want to get the compost going at our house. Next year... chickens.
Speaking of chickens, you should check out Omlet USA website.
It gives a comprehensive list of chickens and the kind of eggs they produce. I like the little chicken coops they have, but it's a little pricey for me $900-1,000. I think Tay a
nd I will build one.

I think the following chickens might be good:
I lean towards the Faverolle's since they are child friendly and I know Hoju will want to interact with them.

Another future goal is having a beehive. I get very excited
at the though of having fresh honey and watching the bees work in my yard.
Another blog I enjoy following is
Progressive Pioneer check out her new beehive.

I guess one important thing I need to start doing is baking, canning, and food drying. HA!

Cats like boxes....

even really, really small boxes. Why is it that a cat finds so much pleasure from a box?

Best Outfit Ever......

We got this outfit from Cito at our shower. We were too excited to wait for Elliott so we put it on Biff... Doesn't he look handsome... hahahahaha! We call it the Liberachi Outfit.

What a cool Toy Box!

When I was searching for stuff for the nursery I came across this cute owl toy box. However, it was $399-475!!

So I emailed my dad to see if he could make one for cheap. Look how awesome it turned out!
We were able to put almost everything we got at the showers in it for the trip back to Colorado!

Thanks Dad! We love it!

Spring Break in Utah

Last week Taylor and I went back to Utah for my spring break. We had 3 showers while we were there! Each were really fun and I had a good time visiting with family and friends. We got some really good stuff and I feel a little more prepared now.

Our first shower was the Williams. Shauna and Mary Anne did an extraordinary job of getting the shower ready. Mary Anne made the cutest invitations and some great owl sugar cookies. The shower had cute owl and duck decorations. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera for the 1st shower so I don't have pictures. I'll have to get them from Shauna.

The Second shower was by Jaime and Carmen. Our friends came out on a cold rainy day to celebrate with us. I had a lot of fun catching up with my old Roller Derby Teammates and friends.

Lastly, was the Leasure shower at Sophia's house. Sophia did a great job of decorating and getting lots of great food ready. Kris and Bailey had games and one was find the black baby in the cupcake..... I won! HAHAHA! Also at this shower everyone brought their fravorite book to give to baby Elliott.

We had a great time and want to thank everyone for their support! We are excited for you all to meet the new addition! Big thanks to Curtis and Sophia for letting us crash at their house. It was so fun to spend time with you both and little Deacon!
